Brief:
In 2023 Mentimeter decided to continue with the idea of Menti Wrapped. There came a suggestion to do 'personalities' and based on users activity there has been decided to settle with three personalities.
"Storyteller", "Innovator" and "Energizer".
I and another Graphic Designer took care of the visual aspect of it. We wanted to make it fun and appealing so people would be excited to share it! After the first brainstorm, we decided to use a Retro Tarot style.
It was a very smooth and enjoyable collaboration, where every step brought great satisfaction. We divided the work, so there was no moment where one designer was waiting for another one, and also the outcome was a project where we felt we were equally involved and proud.

All three personalities:

were described nicely in the email, by a Content Marketing Manager. The goal was to make people proud of how they use the product and how many people they inspire.
Creative Process:
After creating mood boards and researching what style of illustration was the most inspiring and would work best in that project, we sat down with paper and pencils and started sketching the ideas.
When we were happy with the ideas we sketched, I took photos of them and sketched them again on the iPad. I cleaned the lines and fixed the proportions.
The next step was to digitalize the illustration. The other Visual Designer followed my sketches in Illustrator and started adding colours and shadows, finally bringing the illustrations closer to what we had in our minds.
In the meantime, I did the reverse of the cards. The shape pattern were taken from Mentimeter's logo detail. We knew that the illustrations on the front on the cards were going outside the brand guidelines box, this way we wanted to bring the company's characteristic shapes to the design.
In the end, I started experimenting with adding grain and texture in Photoshop with a set of brushes, to bring the old-school feeling of a deck of old cards.
